There has been lots of news surrounding the Penguins and then wanting a new arena, and possibly moving to a different city. I think they should just get a new arena, I can't picture the Penguins being anywhere else but Pittsburgh. Sad

The city would definitly lose some of its credibility and money from the hockey fans too. The Pens have even offered to pay $4 million a year for rent and capitol expenses, and an extra $500 000 for a parking garage, but an agreement still can't be reached. Shocked

They're looking to move to Kansas City. Sad

What are your thoughts??

in case anybody cares, the Penguins are staying in Pittsburgh and will be getting a new arena!! Very Happy

i dont think they were going to winnepeg. I think it was like kansas city or LA. I sorta wanted them to move too. I guess kind of in frustration that when they rebuilt their team they made it to the playoffs and we still stink.

i'm glad their not moving....i like them in pittsburgh. and they're actually a pretty good team now(sorry) with all of the young guns like staal, crosby, malkin and fleury.

yeah weren't they last or something last year......its pretty amazing to do that........but i think having Malkin had a lot to do with it lol Rolling Eyes

when we swept the flyers it was just great to see us win all 4 games, and the way we won them too.
