I want Canada to win. They've got a good team this year but as usual I think it's gonna be tough for them to beat Russia.

It talks about his personal life.

Alex some days ago was in the meeting with our president Putin. There were Tret'yak, Bykov, Fetisov with him. They discussed the results of the Moscow championship.I don't know any details, unfortunately.
And then some extracts from his interview.
1.I saw that some girls asked about his girlfriend. Hm, he doesn't confess)
But he said:
Do you have a beloved girlf?(Mariya Kuznetsova)
Alex:There are many girls, but no girlfriend. I haven't meet her yet.
-If i ever marry, she will be only russian. American does not compare with our russian girls!
-Why?
-They are very emancipated, they behave in an affected manner , sometimes i can't understand them. I'm russian and it is easier for me to communicate with russians.
2.About Russia
- do you miss Russia?
-Yes. I feel a lack of home, relatives, friends, my favourite places, where i spent much time.
-There are no such places in USA?
-They are. But there is no sincere atmosphere. I want to liisten to russian speech. simple russian speech- and nothing else.
-Do you listen russian music?
-most often.The most important are russian words.
3. About vodka.
-in the interview to one american journalist you said: when i come to Russia, i'll drink much vodka.
-it was a joke but it was not understood. When the advertising started she
was indignant with me:"It's a live broadcast!" She's a typical american.
Our people who listen to the interview at once understood:it was a joke!
4.Alex's mum.
-Americans are the people without complexes.They can in any moment come to our house and with virgin eyes ask:"Where is Alex?How!he is out of home now?"Many people like to leave to Alex different souvenirs.
