Franklin -- On Wednesday, the Franklin Tax Advisory Council will conduct a policy forum about property tax reform.
It will be a chance for residents to learn more about how they can affect the property tax debate, according to Garry Petersen, chairman of the council.
The forum will feature Beth Henkel, former state Department of Local Government Finance commissioner; Larry Grau, an education policy expert; and Eric Miller, an advocate for a constitutional amendment to repeal property taxes.
Petersen said the council will get additional input from residents and take those concerns to the Oct. 17 meeting of the Commission on Local Government Reform at Franklin College.
