| I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are about whether Ovechkin deserves to be named Rookie of the Year. Also what you think of other rookies. |

I really think Alexander Ovechkin desires this award because he has worked really hard all season and he really puts his heart into every game. I think the only other real contendr is Sidney Crosby, I am really not a big fan of.

He certainly deserves to be rookie of the year. No other rookies and very few veterans even come close to his status. He's amazing.

I love watch him play and I really hope he wins rookie of the year. I think he really desires it.

| He does really desire it and he really deserves it. He has worked hard for every point , goal, assist, etc, and deserves to be named Rookie of the Year. |

| No doubt about it, Ovechkin honestly deserves the title of rookie of the year. Others may disagree, and say Crosby should get it, but who do you normally see in the spot light when you turn on TSN in the mornings, Ovechkin, not Crosby. Well that's what I always see. |

Mr. Ovechkin definitely deserves to be rookie of the year, but let's not build everything around a title or an award...the guy is an amazing hockey player and we should be thankful just to be in this era of hockey to support him either way...Frenchy Sends

| You're right with that one, Frenchy. Rookie of the Year or not, record breaking 50 goals and 100 points or not, he's still very talented and has my support 100%. Theres just something about him, you gotta love him. He's going down as a hockey legend, thats for sure. |

omg i know what u mean its true u see ovechkin all the time hes the first thing you see when they talk about the capitals...i love it!!!!!

YEAH, that's right!!!!! However also Crosby is good.. Not as Alex, of course, but he's good!!
