Well...I know I'm going to watch Detroit win the Stanley Cup, as for everyone else? I guess they'll have to settle for other great rookies that are in the playoffs or settle for the other amazing players that may have been overlooked from all the attention Ovechkin got. Smile

Well, looks like I am rooting for Buffalo now. It's depressing to not get to defend your cup outside of the first round. Tear jerking. *sigh*

I watched it. The whole thing was unbelieveable! I felt really bad for Legace. Poor kid. Sad

All the goals, by both teams, were amazing! Gosh I love hockey! Smile

It was a great game...too bad the Red Wings lost. I felt really bad for Legace too, the look on his face whenever the Oilers scored just about broke my heart Sad

. Coming from a goalie, i know how he feels too. And now that the Red Wings are out I'm rootin for Calgary....go Flames!! Laughing

Detroit will get it next year, hopefully with Yzerman still a part of the team.

I really thought, that when the Oilers scored that last goal with 1:06 left, that Legace was going to cry. The look his face was heart wrenching, even for me, someone who is not a big Wings fan. Legace is a really good goalie though, so he'll bounce back. Smile

No way can I root for Calgary! I'm rooting for Buffalo right now. If Ottawa doesn't win, I'll be mad. At least if they DO win, then I will have been right when I predicted them to win before the season, and then I won't feel SO bad about Tampa losing to them. ! I think it's going to come down to Ottawa & New Jersey in the East!

Well now that both the Red Wings and the Flames are out I'm not too sure who to cheer for Confused

. I'm not really a huge fan of any of the teams left. As long as its a Canadian team that wins it, I'll be happy Very Happy
