Btw, can somebody tell me why deliverers and other call him Sasha?
I have always wanted to know that.

Oh, I don't know how to say better... Some Russian people have "big"-official and "small" names. And Ovechkin's "big" name is Alexander, but his small name is Sasha. It depends on name. For example, I haven't got a big name.

Yes, you can say so! But "small" name is a bit more official than nickname. We almost always use our "small" names, "big" names we use in different documents or official letters ( at school, university or work we use "big" names only when we communicate with teachers or boss). |

| Hm... He became a superstar, so he can afford him all that he wants: any girl, any car, any country to have a rest. It's natural he has found a girlfriend. No matter who is she, what's her name(including if her feelings are true) . I think she is VERY proud of being a girlfriend of Alexander the Great. What about him? He hasn't enough time to think about it. It's important for him just ho have a pretty girl. It was my own opinion, don't emphasize it) |
